Synopsis of YOU ARE NOT AN INDIVIDUAL BUT PART OF CHRIST
Good and joyful day today to all Christian brothers and sisters on this the day the Lord has made. Pull up a chair, pour yourself a cup of coffee, or tea, or milk, or whatever is your favorite, we’re about to slice a piece of the Bread of Life, the Word of God. Today’s slice comes from: ~The Resurrection Body 1Corinthian 15:35 But someone may ask, “How will the dead be raised? What kind of bodies will they have?” 36 What a foolish question! When you put a seed into the ground, it doesn’t grow into a plant unless it dies first. 37 And what you put in the ground is not the plant that will grow, but only a dry little seed of wheat or whatever it is you are planting. 38 Then God gives it a new body – just the kind he wants it to have. A different kind of plant grows from each kind of seed. 39 And just as there are different kinds of seeds and plants, so also there are different kinds of flesh – whether of humans, animals, birds, or fish. 40 There are bodies in the heavens, and there are bodies on earth. The glory of the heavenly bodies is different from the beauty of the earthly bodies. 41 The sun has one kind of glory, while the moon and stars each have another kind. And even the stars differ from each other in their beauty and brightness. 42 It is the same way for the resurrection of the dead. Our earthly bodies, which die and decay, will be different when they are resurrected, for they will never die. 43 Our bodies now disappoint us, but when they are raised, they will be full of glory. They are weak now, but when they are raised, they will be full of power. 44 They are natural human bodies now, but when they are raised, they will be spiritual bodies. For just as there are natural bodies, so also there are spiritual bodies. 45 The Scriptures tell us, “The first man, Adam, became a living person.” But the last Adam – that is, Christ – is a life-giving Spirit. 46 What came first was the natural body, then the spiritual body comes later. 47 Adam, the first man, was made from the dust of the earth, while Christ, the second man, came from heaven. 48 Every human being has an earthly body just like Adam’s, but our heavenly bodies will be just like Christ’s. 49 Just as we are now like Adam, the man of the earth, so we will someday be like Christ, the man from heaven. 50 What I am saying, dear brothers and sisters, is that flesh and blood cannot inherit the
This message is to bring definition to your live as a member of the body of Christ. The Holy Spirit is pulling back the curtain to unveil the true identity of the church, that’s us, and how we musts impact this earth for His glory. It is time for God’s people to hear His voice and discover the life that Jesus purchased for us to demonstrate to the world.
Question: What is the church missing ? Answer: We think we are something we are not.
Your identity has always been part of another person —— the person of Christ. You are not alone with your own specific objectives. All that you are in your human life is only as relevant as the degree in which you function in Christ. This life is not about you! It has nothing to do with you! Another voice, not the Holy Spirit’s, has been speaking to lead you off course into what God never intended you to be. It is time to discover what God has already made you.
Example: A body cell cannot live outside of the body. A cell of your body does not have life without your body. If you extract it…. It dies. Each cell live in connection with a body that is alive, and it dies in connection with a body that is dead. It cannot give self-identification but can function only within it’s place in the body.
All that you thought you were, all that you were educated to be, and all that you believe is now exposed as untruths, if you do not have a clear picture of who you are in Christ. Spiritually there were only two men on earth – we are part of one of them. We look, act, and speak as if we are individuals; but to God, we are part of one of the two people. Your are part of the living dead body of Adam. OR We are part of the living body of Christ.
These two men, Adam and Christ, have the characteristics of their respective fathers. Adam does the will of his father, Satan, whose spirit is of rebellion and disobedience is seeded within Adam. Therefore, Satan builds the concept of individuality, tempting people to be all that they want to be. Remember…. Satan’s motive was to be God, Isaiah 14-13.
If you listen to his voice and choose to live by yourself – insulated, isolated, and make independent decisions, then you separate yourself from the life of the Spirit of God.
Even if Christ lives in you, He does not live in you individually because He did not raise an individual from hell; He raised a body.
In Matthew 16:13-22 Peter, after having captured from Father God the revelation of who Jesus was, he turned back to self-serving individuality of Satan. Remember also that an angel had to separate and keep us from the Tree of Life, so that we could not partake of the nature of Christ, Genesis 3:24
When you are in Christ, you become a new creation and must take your rightful place within the Body of Christ. We are no longer us, but a newly created being. Recall that Paul did not identify his individuality only his placement in the corporate identity of the body of Christ.
The enemy, the dead man Satan, has come to bring the greatest deception upon the earth while the voice of God is revealing the life of His Son. And, If we have the One who died for us, but we live for ourselves, we have communion with demonic spirits, which bring self-identity, self-idealism, self-elevation, self- positioning, self-authority; causing us to compare ourselves with other, not with Christ Jesus.
