Today’s slice of the bread of life, the Word of God, comes from Habakkuk 1:1-4:

This is the message that the prophet Habakkuk received from the Lord in a vision. How long, O Lord, must I call for help? But you do not listen! “Violence!” I cry, but you do not come to save. Must I forever see this sin and misery all around me? Wherever I look, I see destruction and violence. I am surrounded by people who love to argue and fight. The law has become paralyzed and useless, and there is no justice given in the courts. The wicked far outnumber the righteous, and justice is perverted with bribes and trickery.

In Matthew Henry’s commentary he expounds on this passage in this way:

The servants of the Lord are deeply afflicted by seeing ungodliness and violence prevail, especially among those who profess the truth. No man scrupled doing wrong to his neighbor. We should long to remove to the world where holiness and love reign for ever, love and no violence be before us. God has good reason for his long-suffering towards bad men, and the rebukes of good men. The day will come when the cry of sin will be heard against those that do wrong, and the cry of prayer for those that suffer wrong.

As the title of today’s message states, 2012 will become known as the year of discovery. As we begin to live under the rule of God’s government, the mysteries of the end of the age will begin to be revealed. The hidden mysteries will be given, and revelation of God’s purposes will come forth as stated in Revelation 2:17:

Anyone who is willing to hear should listen to the Spirit and understand what the Spirit is saying to the churches.

The establishment of God’s government, which will lead to discovery, will begin with a season of recovery.

The Lord has been speaking through His prophets today saying:

“I say unto you, truly, truly, that this is the day of recovery, so rise up with hope renewed. Gain access into My goodness. For surely I will restore that which has been stolen. I have come to set My people free, and I continue in the process by restoring them from time to time when it is necessary. Receive today the power of restoration and let the Spirit of the living God now invade your spiritual space; let overtake you; let embrace you.”

Back in October of 2011 we were told that at the Feast of Trumpets would birth a new season that will come into full manifestation and go forth in great strength into 2012. This would be the beginning of God’s government becoming very, very apparent to us.

Oh yes, the year 2012. God’s government began with 12 tribes of Israel and continued into the New Testament with 12 apostles. The apostle John reported what he saw in his vision of heaven on earth. It included 12 gates, 12 angels, 12 foundations, 12 apostles’ names on the gates, the city was 12,000 furlongs, wide and high. And there were 12 precious stones in the foundation walls…
